A warm and contemporary family home designed for Roji Roice in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, where traditional Kerala roof forms meet a clean modern architectural language.

The design is centred around two prominent sloping tiled roofs, giving the residence a familiar Kerala character while the crisp white walls, warm wood-toned openings and simple geometric projections bring a contemporary feel. Carefully placed balconies and covered sit-outs create comfortable semi-open spaces for everyday family life.

Large windows and the high-level glazed opening allow natural light to penetrate the interiors, while the deep roof overhangs and covered outdoor areas respond naturally to Kerala's tropical climate. Brick-textured accents add warmth and break up the otherwise minimal elevation.

Surrounded by lush tropical planting, the house feels closely connected to its landscape. The spacious front garden and paved approach further enhance the welcoming character of the residence.
